ConEdison Sr Mechanical Engineer - CENG Facilities Engineering in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 8 years of experience in areas of design, and application of engineering principles in assigned areas of expertise.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 6 years of experience in areas of design, and application of engineering principles in assigned areas of expertise.
Relevant Work Experience
Must be a motivated individual with strong leadership abilities and demonstrated initiatives. Required
Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities with a proven record of accomplishments in providing architectural support for various types of projects. Required
Strong interpersonal skills as well as good oral and written communication skills to interact with various departments and customers (internal and external) at all levels. Required
Must be able to perform required calculations and select equipment in support of capital and O&M project designs. Required
Licenses And Certfications
Driver's License Required
Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
