Protiviti Inc. seeks Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in New York, NYJob Duties: Design and prepare process documents, including risk control matrix, process narratives, flowcharts, or deficiency improvement plans for clients to standardize their operational procedures in a written format. Define, execute, and monitor project plans by tracking the efficiency of a project team and completion rates of required deliverables. Provide weekly status and issues raised to engagement senior manager and director through periodic meetings. Conduct risk assessments and scoping for clients to determine business processes and regions with high financial reporting, operations, and compliance risks. Analyze clients’ financial data through risk assessment models to obtain materiality and volatility data of each general ledger account and each entity to develop project plans. Oversee the quality of deliverables prepared by consultants, including accuracy and completeness of documents, by reviewing the deliverables in detail and communicating comments to consultants. Liaise with the external auditors throughout all phases of the engagement, including providing test work on their platform and addressing follow-up inquiries. Partial telecommuting is permitted. Up to 25% domestic travel to client sites may be required.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management, Business Administration, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of SOX and Internal Control Consulting.Special Skill Requirements: 1.Experience updating and maintaining Risk and Control matrices as well as SOX narratives and flowcharts. (Two years)2.Experience with leading internal auditing processes for different types of audit and consulting projects, including Compliance Audit, Operational Audit, and Performance Audit. (Two years) 3.Experience implementing audit methodologies, including risk-driven audit and IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) to achieve quality assurance and process improvement. (Two years) 4.Experience using embedded systems for obtaining and reviewing reports and other supporting documentation. (Two years) 5.Experience redesigning financial reporting, operations, and compliance processes for global corporations and experience leading client interviews using process flowcharts and Risk Control Matrix. (Two years) 6.Perform data and business analytics using Excel and ACL tools. (One year) 7.Experience with the following technical tools: Visio, Oracle, and SAP (One year)Partial telecommuting is permitted.
