Amazon Sr Digital Marketing Manager, Shopbop in New York, New York

Shopbop, an Amazon subsidiary, is looking for a results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for growing Shopbop’s global business across Paid Search, Shopping, Organic Search, Paid Social and Mobile Media channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to create and execute effective paid marketing strategies, develop/launch/optimize new programs and campaigns, manage complex projects, partner with internal and external teams, interface with senior stakeholders, measure results and optimize against KPIs. The right candidate will be analytical, customer-focused, thrive in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities, and partner across teams effectively. They will have a data-driven orientation with the ability to craft written narratives that clearly communicate business results and future opportunities. The Sr Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the day-to-day performance and optimization of the channels while seeing the big picture and developing strategies with long-term impact. This role sits within the Marketing organization, reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing.

Key job responsibilities

Channel Strategy and Execution:

• Define and execute channel strategy across Paid Search, Shopping, Organic Search, Paid Social and Mobile Media channels in alignment with marketing and business goals

• Partner closely with marketing agency to manage day-to-day channel execution, strategy, testing, budget allocation and optimization in alignment with defined goals.

• Partner closely with Organic Search agency to audit and analyze Shopbop’s SEO performance, identifying issues, finding root-causes, and experimenting with solutions to improve performance at scale.

• Work closely with site, product, technology and business intelligence teams to influence cross team roadmaps and make sure the infrastructure, architecture, and site features support and enhance the effectiveness of our SEO.

• Maintain a high bar for creative and copy across channels in partnership with creative teams

• Work closely with cross functional partners to support business and product priorities

• Develop and maintain close partnerships with media partners (e.g. Google, Facebook) to drive channel innovation, expansion and optimization

• Stay current and knowledgeable on new developments, trends, and technologies in the digital marketing and paid media space

Reporting and Forecasting:

• Own forecasting, goal-setting, and reporting for Paid Search, Shopping, Organic Search, Paid Social and Mobile Media channels, leading insights for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews

• Analyze and synthesize data to deliver actionable insights, drive campaign performance improvement and strategize iterative channel testing

• Report on progress against goals and present relevant metrics to senior management

• Drive improvements to reporting and analytics

• Work closely with data warehouse and analytics teams to facilitate data requirements for cross channel analytical needs

Basic Qualifications

  • • 8+ years of paid and organic search marketing experience, inclusive of agency experience

  • • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • • Experience managing digital marketing programs across different devices and geographic regions.

  • • Experience managing and optimizing data feeds for product focused programs.

  • • Experience leveraging Microsoft Excel to gather, organize, and analyze data

  • • Excellent business judgment and the ability to think strategically and execute methodically

  • • Able to generate ideas and solve problems independently and consistent with Amazon’s core principles

  • • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a passion and aptitude for analysis and related tools

  • • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal

  • • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external teams

  • • Interest in the technical aspects of digital marketing

  • • Strong bias for action and sense of urgency; strong adaptability to changes in customer behavior, technology, and governing policies.

  • • A track record of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of and passion for fashion e-commerce.

  • SQL knowledge

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
