Software Engineer for Oscar Management Corporation (New York, NY). Develop and maintain the frontend for the design system. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent. Requires two years of work experience as a Software Developer, Frontend Engineer, UI Engineer, Web Developer, or related job/role/occupation. Experience must include: Developing front-end code for user-facing web-based platforms; Writing product requirement documentation and system development documents for design systems; Providing web component library development including reusable and modular components, guidelines, and standards for the user interface of all software applications; Providing product support for frontend software development; Collaborating with designers, developers, and other business stakeholders to continuously improve the design system; Working on performance optimization for React application; Providing technical support to peers via formal code review. Estimating, prioritizing, and distributing tasks for front-end web development; Implementing web accessibility guidelines and testing for accessibility issues; Utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and JS frameworks including React and Redux.
