JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Software Engineer in New York City, NY. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% of the week. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. DUTIES: Work with product owners on requirements, build, deliver software based on the emerging fraud trends for thebusiness. Utilize knowledge for cloud technologies and business acumen to understand the requirements. Design,develop, and implement software solutions. Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting applicationspecifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancingsoftware application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Participate in code reviews toensure solutions are aligned to pre- defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommendingways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposedsolutions. Telecommuting permitted up to 100% of the week. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 year of experiencein the job offered or a related occupation.
