You’ll help develop industry-leading solutions that power next-generation, large-scale platforms and AI services to help connect billions of people around the world.

Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Machine Learning - Monetization Responsibilities:

1. Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, data regression, and rules based models

2. Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmap

3. Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team

4. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU)

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining or artificial intelligence

2. Proven experience to translate insights into business recommendations

3. Experience with Hadoop/HBase/Pig or MapReduce/Sawzall/Bigtable

4. Knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ and Java

5. Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, PHP, and shell scripts

6. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

$116,002/year to $168,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
