Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Service Operations Manager to drive productivity and supervise the performance of all service operations.
Lead the performance of field operations for all service projects
Meet with customers to ensure obligations and expectations are achieved
Implement proper field education training including safety and new products
Ensure safety and the quality of service, technical support, and other assets for our customers
Conduct field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety & logistics plans
Manage the expenditure of labor and materials while maintaining project schedules
Identify and drive efficiency improvements in our service operations and develop action plans to address deficiencies regarding safety, callback rates, and technical support
Generate field leads and assist our service sales representatives in selling upgrades and repairs
Education / Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience leading field associates required
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
Experience leading technicians in elevator or similar industry preferred
5+ Elevator industry experience preferred
