Job Title: Senior Structural EngineerJob Description

We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. Your role will focus on structural engineering design for tanks, basins, and building facilities at water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as industrial water facilities. You will be tasked to design concrete, steel, and masonry structures, including the use of ACI 350 for Environmental Structures. You will conduct condition assessments of existing structures, prepare detailed design sketches, and coordinate with designer staff to prepare BIM models and design drawings. A part of your role will also include preparing construction specifications and utilizing software like STAAD Pro, RAM, Enercalc for structural design. You'll also work in coordination with architects and other engineering staff.

Hard Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

• 5 years of Structural Engineering Design Experience with wastewater treatment facilities or industrial facilities

• Structural Design Experience of wastewater treatment plants and water industrial facilities

• STAAD or RISA

• MathCAD Experience

• Familiarity with ACI 350 - Design concrete structures utilizing ACI 350 for Environmental Structures

• Knowledge of Design of Concrete, Steel, and Masonry structures

• Professional Engineer License

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

The selected candidate will report to the Manager or another senior team member depending on their level of experience. The role involves independent work as well as collaborative efforts with a team of 12 engineers and designers. Independent tasks will involve smaller projects such as designing a tank. Support is available at all times.
