Siemens Financial Services Inc (SFS), Project Structure Americas (PS-AM) is hiring a Senior Risk Manager – Public Finance. This is a hybrid role that can be located out of Manhattan NY, Malvern PA or Iselin NJ.

The Senior Risk Manager- Public Finance is responsible for:

  • End-to-end new business analysis and execution and portfolio management for Structured Finance Risk Management team.

  • Reviewing and approving new public finance transactions within the prescribed lending limits, new business underwriting, ongoing portfolio management, credit and structure analysis and review on closed and funded transactions for Siemens Financial Services Inc. (SFS) and Siemens Public Inc. (SPI).

  • Managing the adherence to all mandated Credit Policies and Guidelines in the credit and structure analysis of prospective new transactions.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert, having a deep market understanding of the Public Finance market, and in particular the Higher Education sector.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-year college degree with a focus on Finance, Business Administration or Accounting.

  • Minimum 10 years underwriting and portfolio management experience in the Public Finance sector. with

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in the following:

  • Underwriting private and public Higher Education transactions.

  • Private Placement Bond loan documentation, due diligence and closing processes.

  • Negotiating, underwriting and closing Private Placement Bonds.

  • Cash flow modeling, including the ability to appropriately sensitize, analyze and interpret cash flow model data.

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of credit, audit and portfolio management.

  • General understanding of new business development and loan administration.

  • Ability to travel 15-20%.

  • Authorization to work for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred (or sufficient additional industry experience)

  • Completed formal bank credit training program.

  • Experience with highly structured tax-exempt bonds.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

  • The pay range for this position is $106,000 - $181,700 and the annual incentive target is 50% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
