Pager, Inc. (New York, NY) seeks Senior QA Analyst. Conduct manual and automation testing, including utilizing methodologies of regression testing, smoke testing, and exploratory testing, to ensure the robustness of software applications by validating expected behavior and resolving unintended consequences and edge cases. Define acceptance criteria for engineering work items, driving the creation of both unit tests and QA tests. Formulate testing for native and mobile web apps. Document test cases with relevant documents in TestRail. Conduct backend and integration testing using tools such as Postman and SQL, to ensure the integrity and reliability of software systems. Work with Engineering and Product teams to facilitate QA sign-off on items within a sprint; to identify and flag QA requirements including test environments, scope, etc.; and ensure that tickets are delivered to QA in a timely manner or are escalated if missing. Run and monitor CI/CD pipelines, streamline the software delivery process, and enhance overall development efficiency. Contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the testing-to-production release phase, ensuring a smooth transition from development to deployment. Coordinate seamless production releases, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth transition of new features and updates. Work with our Support team to identify defects and features when they are reported by clients. Collaborate with offshore team members (India) to perform testing, assign tasks for releases, and send test results to stakeholders. Work proactively to understand project deadlines and execute deliverables on time. Provide 100% QA coverage to ensure that every variation of features or requirements is tested. Collaborate with client QA resources to onboard them to new features and complete additional test suites. Serve as a subject matter expert in expected behavior for member-facing healthcare applications ensuring a seamless user experience across multiple communication channels including SMS, chat, and phone lines. Curate QA reports delivered to management. Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely responses to critical issues, and ensuring the continuous availability and performance of systems. $150,280/year. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related plus 60 months experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or related. Must have 3 years experience (simultaneous & concurrent with the experience required above) with: Quality assurance and working within SDLC and STLC, creating automated test scripts and performing end-to-end testing, testing web services, mobile testing, utilizing RDBMS and knowledge of how a database-driven software application interacts with the underlying data layer, utilizing OOP concepts and data structures, working in agile environments, implementing agile quality assurance processes, data migration testing, Test Complete, and SQL.
