SG Americas Operational Services, LLC Senior Programmer Analyst (Exotic Pricing Applications) in New York, New York

Work closely with users and global teams to migrate and manage applications on the Azure public cloud and develop scalable and cost-effective solutions; Build API driven microservices to support the pricing and risk for Exotic IRD traders Enhance tools to manage financial risk indicators used by the traders; Recruit, onboard and mentor new joiners to develop team; Participate in building and implementing technology strategy; Build applications for structured product businesses including developing high performance pricing applications and real-time risk applications for the exotic interest rates derivatives and credit trading desks; Liaise with the flow pricing technology teams to harmonize the systems; Ensure all data and flows between other trading and settlement applications are maintained; Provide and support tools used for pricing and risk management by the Exotic Rates traders; Support the traders to help them be able to price trades and manage their risk; Manage each initiative given by management from start to end; Work with the Exotic traders to understand their needs and translate requirements into systems; Work closely with the Quant team in order to improve the pricing models for local currencies; Provide desk support; Propose design options and implement the project accordingly; Ensure agile and continuous delivery methodology is followed. Use test driven methodology and ensure all code is well tested; Ensure that release management and change management processes are followed; Migrate legacy Excel based prices to the target C# based framework and participate in the evolution of the framework; Deploy and adapt existing European and Asian tools and work closely with our teams abroad.Collaborate with other teams including networking, systems, quality insurance, support, architects, others development teams; Improve existing processes in order to reduce support time; Maintain pricing tools, optimize usage, monitoring; Give clear and consistent reports to the clients and management; Ensure business requirements are met; and Utilize IT best practices to improve quality of development. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to SG Americas Operational Services, LLC, 245 Park Ave., New York, NY 10167. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Application Developer, Full Stack Developer or any occupation/position/job title involving front office systems and electronic trading platform software development at a global financial institution.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Application Developer, Full Stack Developer or any occupation/position/job title involving front office systems and electronic trading platform software development at a global financial institution.Must also have the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience at a global financial institution working on front office systems and electronic trading platforms delivering technology solutions and support for financial products (including Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives), financial industry business processes, and trading systems utilizing structured, object-oriented languages including C#, Python, Javascript, and React; 3 years professional experience performing risk analysis and pricing including maintaining pricing tools, optimizing usage, and monitoring; 3 years professional experience building API driven microservices (including SQL, NoSQL, and DB); 3 years professional experience working with relational databases using SQL; and 3 years professional experience collaborating with support staff including traders, middle office, and developers.

Minimum Salary: 169,229 Maximum Salary: 200,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
