Job Title: Senior Product Designer

Location: NYC (Hybrid) – In office 2 days a week in NYC, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Irving, or Oakland. 6-month contract, likely to extend or convert to full-time afterwards.

In the role of Senior Product Designer, you'll play a critical role in enhancing the user experience across our digital landscapes. Focused on refining purchase and post-transaction onboarding processes, your mission will be to design seamless, engaging experiences that boost brand affinity and conversion rates. This position offers the exciting challenge of leading e-commerce initiatives, requiring close collaboration with a talented team to push the boundaries of what's possible in our digital ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of product design experience in B2C environments, including mobile and native app design across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

  • Must have experience in consumer facing web streaming

  • Profound knowledge of accessibility principles.

  • Proficiency in motion design to improve user experience.

  • Expertise in UX Design tools (Figma preferred).

  • Understanding of development processes and technologies; coding skills not required.

  • User-centric design approach, with a mix of research, analytics, and empathy.

  • Awareness of current design patterns and the discernment to innovate as needed.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

  • Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.

  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine user experiences, focusing on customer satisfaction, brand perception, and conversion rates on mobile app and web.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in e-commerce UX/UI design, transforming broad ideas into captivating experiences.

  • Use data and user research to inform and justify design choices, presenting strategies to team leaders and stakeholders.

  • Adapt and collaborate on various projects, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

  • Create high-fidelity prototypes and design concepts, pivoting when necessary.

  • Ensure design consistency within the digital ecosystem, effectively communicating updates within the design team.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Content, Research, Data Analytics, and Product Management teams to launch outstanding features.

  • Contribute to the design team culture through mentoring, feedback, and unique perspectives.

  • Share passions and interests, enriching our team’s diversity.
