Position Overview

A& M is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Treasury team in NYC/ Tampa. This crucial role is responsible for ensuring the firm's financial stability and efficiency. The Senior Manager will drive key financial strategies, optimize cash management, and enhance overall financial performance through informed decision-making and process improvements. This position reports directly to the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the firm's treasury operations, including cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and financial data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Manage intercompany funding activities, foreign exchange, and netting.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure alignment with overall financial goals and objectives.
  • Prepares financial modeling and analysis, including cash forecasting, capital structure, financing strategies, and presentations for senior management
  • Acts as a key liaison with banks as related to the cash management and treasury functions. This includes establishing and maintaining banking relationships, negotiating favorable terms and monitoring banking fees.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws related to treasury operations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in treasury processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders on the firm's financial performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in treasury operations to drive innovation and improvement in the firm's financial processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain bank account structures including cash pooling.


Qualifications/Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Excellent knowledge of global cash management concepts and banking terms
  • Ability to adapt and lead in a changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including ability to interact with all levels of management within and outside of finance)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with SAP preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and analysis and communicating Treasury concepts.
  • Self-directed individual comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment who can prioritize and manage projects and people with minimal supervision


Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD& D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $190, 000 - $210, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
