JOB SUMMARY
Cognizant's Consumer business unit is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Event, Client Engagements and Experiences to lead the planning and execution of key industry, partner and client-focused events. This role will drive Cognizant's thought leadership in the Consumer industry sector strengthening client relationships through innovative and immersive event experiences as well as client-led corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
This role is responsible to manage major consumer industry events and spearheading client/partner-specific workshops/roadshows, innovation days, roundtables and client-led CSR-driven initiatives. This role will also involve content creation to support digital campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILIITES
- Event Strategy, Planning and Program Management
- Client Engagement Programs:
- Develop and manage strategic client engagement initiatives, including executive forums, roundtable discussions, and tailored client workshops aimed at driving business growth and building client relationships
- Collaborate with teams to curate relevant and engaging session topics and materials that resonate with audience interests and needs.
- Create engaging client experiences that showcases Cognizant's innovative solutions and thought leadership through interactive sessions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, business, alliance/partner teams to ensure alignment on messaging, goals, and attendee engagement strategies.
- Work closely Cognizant's global marketing teams to ensure consistent branding, messaging and alignment with corporate initiatives across all events.
- Partner with events organizers, third party vendors, industry forums and alliance partners for smooth co-branded marketing initiatives.
- Events Execution and Metrics:
- Manage all logistics for events planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and attendee management
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for events such as client satisfaction/experience, revenue impact and brand management.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Consumer industries or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in event planning and management, field marketing, preferably in the tech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from concept to execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences across hierarchies.
- Experience in using event management, reporting and CRM tools to track events success for providing actionable insights to the management team
- Enthusiastic, Relationship-making and learning attitude.
- Ability to travel about 30% required for event execution.
LOCATION: USA, remote or proximity to key Consumer clients, Cognizant office with ability to travel

SALARY AND OTHER COMPENSATION

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
