T.Y. Lin International Senior Engineer in New York, New York
Job Description: Perform structural design and analysis for buildings projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems. Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications. Work on design and production of structural documents, construction specifications and project reports in accordance with local building codes, accepted design practices, and specific project criteria. Develop structural details for non-standard structural components. Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions. Act as liaison to Clients and Project Managers. Assist with business development and working to promote T.Y. Lin's growth and brand recognition. Maintaining involvement in professional organizations to keep abreast of new industry developments. Telecommute permitted.Minimum Requirements:Education: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering, or related field.Experience: Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Staff Civil Engineer, Design Engineer, or in a related occupation.Annual Salary: $106,434-$131,600/yearSpecial Skills: Academic training or work experience in the following:1. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE);2. Professional Engineering (PE);3. RISA 3D, SAP2000, or RAM;4. REVIT;5. Diaphragms and collector element design;6. Lateral systems design (specifically shear walls, moment frames, and braced frames).
