Infor (US) Inc. Senior Cloud System Engineer in New York, New York
Duties:Position will lead complex provisioning, advanced maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, data migration and documentation; manage the ongoing maintenance, utilization, availability, and security of the storage infrastructure based on business requirements and adhering to tight operations, security, and procedural models; perform IT implementations, performance analysis and optimization, monitoring, problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation; utilize Windows & Linux experience with the ability to use OS enabled tools for data copy; and, establish NFS, SMB, snapshots, replication (SRM, recoverpoint), SnapMirror and other services. Domestic U.S. travel required up to 25%; 100% telecommuting permitted.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; and five (5) years of progressive related post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a Senior Cloud System Engineer-related occupation. Position also requires demonstrable experience with the following:•Demonstrable experience with Pure Storage arrays;•Demonstrable experience with NAS storage such as NetApp;•Demonstrable experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, PowerStore, recoverpoint and Unity/Isilon products;•Demonstrable experience with Design and maintain SAN switches, and experience with FC switches such as Brocade, Cisco and/or Juniper and FC cable medium and connectivity types;•Demonstrable ability to configure and present storage LUNs to various Windows, Linux hosts and configure MPIO and PowerPath at the host level;•Demonstrable experience with Cohesity or related backup and recovery technologies;•Demonstrable experience with LogicMonitor, SIEM tools including Splunk or similar;•Demonstrable experience in Scripting, Powershell, Unix shells, Python, Ansible, and Terraform;•Demonstrable experience with configuration management tools and automation tools including Chef, Puppet, and SaltStack;•Demonstrable experience with basic networking concepts including OSI, Vlans, Routing & ACLs; and,•Demonstrable experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPCs, S3) and automation using cloud formation templates.Domestic U.S. travel required up to 25%; 100% telecommuting permitted.CONTACT: How to apply: E-mail resume, referencing IN1034, including job history, to careers@infor.com.
