AccessFintech Senior Back End Developer in New York, New York

Senior Back End Developer Deal with high volume of data; work with challenging solution-cracking of large-scale distributed system; work with cutting edge technology; design/maintain microservices (Java, Scala, Golang, C#, JavaScript); provide connectivity solutions [protocols/technologies (HTTP/S, FIX, IBM-MQ, sFTP, IMAP, Rabbit-MQ, Kafka)]; integrate microservices with Docker, Kubernetes; develop features (React, typescript, JavaScript); build scripts (Gradle, Maven) resolving security issues; research/use new technologies/tools; coordinate with various teams (backend teams, product, DevOps teams); develop end-to-end backend components; responsible for design to implementation; develop high-demand, highly available microservices, stable (efficient, maintainable, testable, modular clean code); lead design/implementation of scalable, reliable, secure backend systems to support growing infrastructure needs; collaborate with product managers/professional services to understand business requirements/translate them into technical solutions; provide guidance to junior developers (local/remote) to foster growth; maintain code quality standards; participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices, performance optimizations, maintainability; investigate/troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments; provide timely resolutions/root cause analyses; conduct training sessions/presentations for client services team to enhance their understanding of technical aspects of products; ensure communication/collaboration between technical/non-technical teams; optimize existing backend processes/workflows to enhance efficiency; reduce resource consumption; stay up-to-date with industry trends/emerging technologies; evaluate potential impact on company's technical stack; make recommendations for adoption; contribute to development/enforcement of coding standards, architectural guidelines, best practices within development team; collaborate with DevOps team to automate deployment processes; improve infrastructure reliability; implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; participate in sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of features/enhancements; collaborate with frontend developers to design/implement APIs that meet their requirements; enable seamless integration with backend services; contribute to frontend projects by fixing bugs; develop new features; ensure alignment between frontend/ backend components; conduct performance profiling/optimization of backend services to meet stringent latency/throughput requirements; document technical designs, architectural decisions, system configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing/onboarding new team members; monitor system health/performance metrics using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios); identify/address potential issues; collaborate with security team to ensure compliance with industry standards/best practices for data protection, encryption, access controls; serve as primary point of contact for technical support inquiries during US hours; provide timely resolutions/proactive communication to teams; and ensure uninterrupted operation of critical systems/services. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. 80% telecommute; 20% employer’s office.Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering plus 2 years experience. Experience to include designing/maintaining microservices (Java, Scala, Golang, C#, JavaScript), providing connectivity solutions [protocols/technologies (HTTP/S, FIX, IBM-MQ, sFTP, IMAP, Rabbit-MQ, Kafka)]; integrating microservices with Docker, Kubernetes; developing features (React, typescript, JavaScript); and building scripts (Gradle, Maven) resolving security issues. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. 80% telecommute; 20% employer’s office.

Minimum Salary: 135000 Maximum Salary: 136000 Salary Unit: Yearly
