McKinsey & Company Inc. US is seeking a Senior Analyst in NY, NY. Apply the human centered design approach on a variety of projects that integrate digital designs into products, services and environments. Responsible for key design deliverables across a variety of stages and client priorities, from research and insight generation to concept and delivery. Dissect business problems and use design methodologies to develop innovative outcomes. Utilize qualitative and quantitative research and testing, persona development, customer journeys, and service blueprints to gain user insights. Utilize storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping skillsets to create organized and visually appealing presentations that effectively convey user insights to our clients. Leverage all forms of visual design capabilities to prototype and iterate on UX/UI design including sketching, information architecture, wireframes and user flows. Lead usability testing sessions, synthesize findings and iteratively integrate them into design solutions. Participate in ideation workshops and concept sprints to inject design thinking tools and methodologies to produce tangible results in a rapid and iterative way with our clients. Work closely with client teams to communicate the product vision, ensure that design specifications are implemented, and strengthen client’s capabilities through coaching and sharing of design best practices. Document design assets, design rationales, and design specifications for development and knowledge transferal to client. Work on blended cross functional teams to ensure the successful design implementations by delivering design system, feature prioritization, roadmap planning, and conducting quality assurance. Build mentor and mentee relationships and contribute to the community culture at McKinsey Design. Telecommuting permitted.Qualified applicants for this position must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Technology, Interaction Design, Interface Design, human computer interaction, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent. Qualified applicants for this position must have a minimum one (1) year of experience designing applications, experiences, products, and services that balance user needs, business objectives, and technological constraints. Experience must include the following: Proficiency in visual design software including Adobe CS, Sketch, and Principle; rapid prototyping tools including InVision; research tools including AirTable, Tableau, or Google Analytics; using Agile software development processes and methodologies; using a holistic and human-centered approach to product and service design, spanning research, insight generation, concept development, and deliverables; collaborating and problem solving with a cross-functional team including a variety of stakeholders across business functions and levels.
