Nurse Manager for large Rehabilitation Center in NYC. This position offers competitive pay, great benefits, opportunities for growth!

Job Description

• Manages the nursing unit ensuring that it functions properly and safely on a 24-hour basis.

• Reviews the medical record to ensure compliance.

• Conducts environmental rounds and follows up with resolution.

• Assigns duties to licensed personnel and supervises ancillary personnel. Ensures timely completion and submission of all unit reports.

• Displays ownership of their unit, supervising on a 24-hour basis and communicating with staff on all 3 shifts to be fully apprised of all events taking place.

• Assesses need for additional or needed equipment.

Shift: 7:30am-3:30pm (some flexibility may be required).

Hard Skills

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of 4 years clinical experience

• At least 2 years of management experience, preferably in a geriatric setting
