HNTB Resident Transportation Manager in New York, New York

What We're Looking For

Responsible for overall field management of HNTB's contract, administration and coordination on mid to large size project of a diverse and complex nature.

  • Job Posting Description

Coordinates all movements related to Track Access for construction for a major Transportation Project. Control the movement of contractor personnel, materials and equipment. Establish access routes to work zones for all equipment. Coordinate with all supporting groups and personnel for the safe execution of Construction and Testing.

  • Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • at least 10 years of Previous Track Access experience in an active Railroad environment.

What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitors activities of assigned staff for conformance with HNTB's contractual requirements.Provides technical leadership for complex or unique assignments.

  • Reviews drawings, specifications, and installation for constructability. May recommend changes to design.

  • Analyzes complex construction/design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures and consults with design engineering personnel.

  • Reads and interprets complex contract documents (plans, specs, shop drawings).

  • Collects data to brief Client on project issues and provides possible resolutions.

  • Prepares summary inspection reports of daily activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15 years construction related experience
