Risk Org PMO Framework Leader who leads by example. You are a professional who stays abreast of developments within PMO industry and Citi internal (CPMC) driven PMO changes, including Agile and Waterfall approaches. Using Design Thinking and Business Process Engineering works closely with the Customer, Sales Team, Engineering and Manufacturing to define a project scope and objectives for project members.
Familiar with Waterfall methodology and its translation to Agile frameworks.
Can map; Waterfall roles and responsibilities, execution process, reporting and metrics to Agile.
Has practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, and scale frameworks such as Scrum@Scale, LeSS, Spotify Model, and SAFe.
Defines, teaches, and empowers using Agile best practices such as, breaking complexity down into smaller manageable value driven deliverables, high degree of collaboration and transparency, frequent feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
From the project management side uses techniques such as resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled.
Identifies and where required amends the approach to the context and constraints of each project.
A team player who is not afraid of rolling-up sleeves to do the work.
Self-starter, motivated to do what's right.
Public speaker that understands and engages the audience.
Can read the room and has a high Emotional IQ.
Appreciates and leverages technology to accelerate and optimize work execution (i.e. SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
4 - 8 years of Agile practical experience.
6 -10 years of project management experience – preferably from a mortgage or financial services environment
Scrum, Design Thinking, PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus.
Ability to build teams, work with customers to develop plans.
Knowledge of project/Agile metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
Manage project scope by working closely with the customer to assess requirements their changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Collaborate, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
