Helping develop, monitor, track, analyze, forecast, and report on project budgets, estimates to complete, commitments, expenditures, project progress and productivity, work plans and schedules, projects cost at completion, WBS cost coding, subcontracts, and change management. Help in the development of the schedule for mainly engineering activities but may also need to incorporate other activities associated with procurement, construction, etc. Review of expenditure details, identifying incorrect charges, and commencement of the charge correction process will ensure our financials are accurate. We’ll also have you review, process, and track sub consultant invoices on various projects perform risk analysis on cost and schedule and recommend usage of contingency. Provide support for project pricing prepare spreadsheets and a wide variety of routine cost analyses, cash flow, and other cost related evaluations. Responsible to set-up, monitor, and report earned value progress measurement systems for projects, including analysis based on input from project leads. Produce various planning and scheduling reports and analysis. Support as a PC lead on quarterly business forecasting and monitoring with the PM’s/MOP’s. Experience on working on cost estimation tools, pricing, change order management and deliverables tracking. Work with PA to check on Accounts receivable, backlog invoicing and sub accruals. Knowledge of contracts with different pricing method like Time and Materials, Lumpsum, Cost plus fixed fee, Cost plus fixed multiplier etc.

TRAVEL: Domestic travel to client sites <15% of the time.

Typical salary range for this position is $126,714 to $206,600- and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations, Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or related occupation

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Expertise/ knowledge of: Cost Estimation Tools. Pricing Tools for estimating financials for Project management group. Software used to comply with revenue recognition per Accounting Standards Codification 606 (ASC 606). Software used for Project Accounting Procedure (PAP). Software to support contract management group review and approve all contract documents before commencement of work. Project controls concepts and procedures: Earned Value tracking for high value design Build projects. Understanding Percentage of completion hits to calculate revenue restrained and earned on a monthly basis. Change management control (Estimating in pricing tool, creating logs, setting up in the system once received and reflecting that in current budgets). Perform Operational Project Reviews (OPR) and cost reports -Project summary report, Project gross margin (PGM’s). Project management, Operations management and Project accounting for monitoring project financials and budgets. Data management software used to generate financial snapshots and support discipline leads in budgets, Estimates to complete (ETC’s), Estimate at Completion (EAC’s) etc. Business Forecasting to provide vision regarding backlogs and prospect projects. Contracts with different pricing methods like Time and Materials, Lumpsum, Cost plus fixed fee, Cost plus fixed multiplier etc. Data reconciliations to support PM functionalities.
