Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Production Engineering Ops (LACHAT) in New York, NY.Job Duties: Maintain and scale end-to-end features to help make internet services secure and user friendly. Duties include: build software systems, large-scale infrastructure platforms, and network services in collaboration with architects, product managers, engineers, and data scientists; research and identify ways to automate any manual processes during various phases of a software development lifecycle; participate in on-call rotations and work with engineers to resolve incidents or outages; establish tools, processes, and procedures to ensure the software is functionally correct, scalable, reliable, and supportable; and contribute to performance, monitoring, tuning, and optimization, among other technology initiatives.Minimum Requirements: Master’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Technical Support Specialist, Production Engineer, Application Support Engineer, or a related/similar position.Special Skills:Experience must include experience involving each of the following:1.programming language, including Java, PHP, Perl, or Python;2.SQL;3.Communicating complex issues to both technical and non-technical users;4.User support;5.Splunk; and6.Cloud services, Linux, Search, Advertising, or Online.
