Disney Theatrical Group currently seeks an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated professional to join our team as a Coordinator to support the Aladdin/Beauty and the Beast General Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support for the General Management (GM) office, the Production team, and the Creative team on multiple productions of Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding the nuances of supporting various team members in a timely and efficient manner, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations, communication styles and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties to support the Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast teams (GM office, the Production team, and the Creative team) Coordinate domestic and international travel and generate itineraries for the Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast teams.

  • Reconcile production and travel expenses.

  • Assist with drafting contracts and other important documents, as well as distribution to production team, legal team and corporate office.

  • Facilitate meetings including communication with participants regarding time, location, attendees, and agenda. Set up conference calls and operate the videoconferencing system when necessary.

  • Assist with processing weekly royalty payments, (I.e., Additional Weekly Compensation payments (AWCs)) for all productions of Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

  • Organization of digital files.

  • Support the cost recovery process with licensee partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have 1-2+ years of experience in theatrical production with an interest in producing and/or theatrical management (general management, company management, stage management).

  • Adept at general administrative tasks such as budgeting, data entry, and word processing.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

  • Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints.

  • Talent for anticipating needs.

  • Demonstrated integrity when handling confidential information.

  • Excellent written and spoken verbal communications; professional.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.

  • Commitment to actively being part of and supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period of time. Occasionally lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
