Job Summary

FreeWheel is seeking a customer-centric Product Marketing Manager to join a newly formed product marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring both industry and functional expertise to influence the entire product lifecycle. The Product Marketing Manager for Beeswax will focus on FreeWheel’s solution for powering automated buying for programmatic media buyers and their platform partners​. In this position, you will specialize in deep understanding of the advertising industry technology, personas, and ecosystem to devise and execute Beeswax’s go-to-market and launch strategies. You will work cross-functionally, unifying and motivating peers from different teams (e.g., product, revenue, services). You must understand advertising buying audiences and their needs and be able to turn market, consumer, product, and competitive inputs into insights. This opportunity offers the right candidate a chance to influence the positioning around key products in the FreeWheel portfolio and drive the future of the video advertising industry.

Job Description

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of experience in product marketing or related roles and ad-tech experience, preferably on the buy -side , programmatic proficiency a must

  • Ability to conduct market and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunities

  • Critical thinker with strong writing, communication, presentation development, and delivery skills

  • Strong storytelling skills, with excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to link product launches to organizational campaign themes and goals

  • Can live and breathe the journey of the advertising industry as it transforms

    Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strateg ies and launch plans for Beeswax and achieve alignment across the organization

  • Develop understanding of the buying audience for the organization by conducting research and gather ing insights about target personas, buyer needs, and the purchasing decision process for Beeswax’s products

  • Drive an audience-centric marketing approach, ensuring that messaging, content, and campaign strategies are centered around buyer and customer needs

  • Collaborate in market segmentation and targeting exercises in order to define the market opportunities for the product portfolio and partner with product management leaders to build business cases for expanding market presence or entering new markets

  • Create and socialize product-level documents , including market requirements, positioning map, go-to-market plan, etc.

  • Support reporting on the performance of Beeswax’s portfolio through the lens of the client segments

Bachelor's Degree
