Amazon Principal, Analyst Relations Manager, Amazon Ads in New York, New York

Description

Join our passionate team and be part of shaping the future of advertising technology! We are seeking a seasoned Analyst Relations (AR) leader to join the AR team to help drive this important, visible function. The ideal candidate has a proven track-record of demonstrating successful AR program development and management – ideally in the advertising space - with the ability to quickly grasp technical topics, craft strategic analyst engagement plans, collaborate and influence cross-functionally, and oversee daily operations.

This person will go deep on our solutions and offer a perspective on the stories we should tell, when and how we should tell them, and to whom. This is a highly-visible role, and will be a trusted partner to senior leaders across Ads. You will work with product marketing, product, brand, events, and PR leaders to define and reinforce our key messages and ensure successful product launches. This person must be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, and identifying market challenges and opportunities for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead AR program strategy and execution in collaboration with Head of AR and cross-functional stakeholders

• Build and maintain strategic analyst relationships to drive understanding and awareness of Amazon Ads' solutions across brand advertising, retail media, ad tech, entertainment, and more

• Secure positive analyst coverage through proactive and reactive engagements, including industry reports and evaluations

• Partner with product, marketing, and leadership teams to align on messaging and strategic analyst engagement priorities

• Establish mechanisms to leverage analyst insights to inform product roadmaps, positioning, and strategic initiatives

• Manage core AR activities including briefings, events, inquiries, and reporting

• Coordinate and prioritize analyst requests for information, research reviews, and speaking engagements

Basic Qualifications

  • 11+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of analyst relations experience ideally in the advertising space across Ad Tech, video, retail media, or measurement.
