Position Overview:  

The Presentation Specialist is primarily responsible for the creation and production of PowerPoint presentations that encompass a major portion of the agency’s medical education materials.

The Presentation Specialist is responsible for supporting our agency’s medical education materials that require the design and production of electronic media. The specialist must possess superior visual conceptual skills. The depth of the position demands qualifications developed over a minimum of two to three years of related graphic experience. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Experience and Education:

  • Formats complex medical slides

  • Executes substantial editorial and medical changes

  • Designs and creates PowerPoint templates collaborating with the Creative Director and ----Management as needed

  • Designs and produces marketing materials including new medical education tools and promotional items in slide format

  • Helps to establish and maintain the highest possible standards for all electronic presentations (PPT)

  • Meets established deadlines or provides reasonable notice to the Project Management department of delays or special circumstances requiring deadline extension

  • Engages in any personal development necessary to stay current in advertising techniques and standards, and research activity required to become more familiar with clients’ businesses

  • Works in collaboration with the Art department to ensure branding synergy

  • Performs occasional additional duties as deemed appropriate by Management

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of PowerPoint presentation experience (pharmaceutical or medical education experience preferred)

  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint, particularly in formatting and editing slides and notes pages. --Must be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat

  • Must have strong conceptual skills and a keen design sense

  • Ability to provide consistently superior work in a timely fashion

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow to meet competing/changing deadlines

  • Is a team player and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must have a keen eye for detail with a focus on quality control
