New York University Postdoctoral Associate (Schneider Lab) in New York, New York

The Schneider lab at NYU is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to work on projects that bridge quantitative behavior and circuits-level neuroscience in rodents. The successful candidate will join a growing effort within the lab to build new experimental approaches that harness both engineered (e.g. virtual reality) and natural rodent behaviors (e.g. vocalizing, hunting, foraging) to study neural circuit function. The candidate will apply a combination of quantitative behavioral analysis, physiological recordings, and circuit intervention approaches.

About us: The goal of our lab is to understand how sensory, motor, and learning systems within the brain interact to store memories about the past and make predictions about the future.
