Portfolio Manager (Citadel Americas Services LLC - New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary of $175,000 - $275,000 per year. Employ a fundamental investment process to efficiently select interest rate products; build research infrastructure, including financial and industry models, operating procedures, templates, and documentation; perform quantitative research to compile, analyze, and report company data to forecast trends through the use of mathematical models and techniques; integrate vendor APIs to aggregate and process news data, company financial data, and sentiment data for research and trading; monitor news flows, collect information from news announcements and global corporate events, and analyze data; deploy and manage a portfolio in a market neutral framework, while effectively utilizing IT and risk systems to create competitive advantage; build and construct numerical models and algorithms; evaluate, hire, train, and manage investment professionals to support coverage and/or invest in new subsectors.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in portfolio risk management. Must have at least 3 years of experience in each of the following: Managing a portfolio of securities, with a proven track record of producing strong risk-adjusted returns; risk management, building research infrastructure, performing quantitative research, and building and constructing mathematical models and algorithm; performing fundamental analysis and valuation; identifying short- and long-term trading opportunities; developing tools and techniques for modeling and analyzing markets and instruments; and developing and communicating investment recommendations to clients and senior management.
