What you will be doing

You will be responsible for the design, development, execution and analysis of Operations Acceptance Testing (OAT) across NAP. You will ensure that operational requirements met by working as part of an agile delivery team to release operability enhancements to the applications and databases. You'll also define any additional requests to facilitate delivery (e.g. data, environment and monitoring requirements) whilst providing relevant support to ensure the operability non-functional requirements can be met. Driving platform operability as an integral part of software delivery, using automated solutions to reduce overall timelines and improve software quality early in the lifecycle.

  • Working on new and existing applications ensuring that they meet operational readiness standards and can be released to production.
  • Collaboration with the production support and development teams to ensure swift resolution to operability issues affecting production.

What you bring:

  • Working experience of Payments (Non Card) Processing, Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated Clearing House, Immediate / Urgent / Faster Payments
  • Experience of testing in an agile team supporting a Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
  • Oracle PL/SQL, all types of SQL modules like packages, procedures, functions and other database objects
  • OAT execution experience
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
  • Control-m batch scheduling and execution
  • Experience in configuring and testing monitoring tools
  • Data analysis, data validation and data verification skills that withstand robust challenge within a high performing team

  • Test automation techniques and development skills.
  • Test & Behavioural Driven Development (TDD & BDD) experience
  • Experience of SAFe Delivery
  • Experience of microservices
  • Java development experience
  • Apache Spark/Kafka application knowledge
  • AWS cloud experience
