Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Mid-level Project Manager our NYS Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs Team located in Delmar, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Day to day includes:
- Developing project artifacts
- Facilitating stakeholder meetings to elicit feedback
- Eliciting requirements from stakeholders
- Facilitating/Participating in JAD sessions
- Tracking and reporting project status
- Communication and reporting
- Risk and issue management
- Scope management
- Enterprise change management
- Developing project business cases
- Performing other project management tasks as needed
Qualifications:
36 - 60 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 60 Months of experience leading projects from initiation through closeout, creating schedules, scope, resource management, budget estimations, including risk mitigation. Experience should include multiple methodolgies including waterfall, agile, scrum, and/or kanban
- 48 Months of experience facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders including executives, business users, and technical resources
- 48 Months of experience working on Enterprise Change Management strategies, plans, and activities designed to prepare and support people to adopt to changes in business processes, systems and technology, and organization structures including experience with change capacity
- 36 Months of experience facilitating Project/Release retrospectives, and evaluation of project outcomes and criteria for success to deliver continuous improvement
- 36 Months of experience contributing to the establishment of PMO standards, processes, and internal controls including establishing SDLC and using Outcomes based metrics such as Objectives and Key Results (OKR)
- 36 Months of experience leading elicitation sessions with executives, managers, developers and subject matter experts using variety of information gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, business models
- 36 Months of experience involving a Case Management application that supports workflow, case lifecycle, activities and tasks, storing related documentation, and managing stakeholder communication in one of the following domains: Human Services, Law Enforcement (Investigations), Justice (Legal, Courts)
- 30 Months of experience working in State Government
- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or Education
- Communication-focused Certification (i.e., counseling, mediation, education)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $40.00 and $50.00
