Position Overview:

The Pediatric Supervisor is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for overseeing Pediatric Field RNs, updating current policies/forms, and directing quality patient care. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Pediatric Field RNs to ensure quality patient care delivery.

  • Update and maintain current policies/forms related to pediatric care.

  • Provide direction and support to nursing staff in accordance with company protocols.

  • Conduct periodic evaluations of RNs in the field, with occasional travel required.

  • Collaborate with management to address any issues or concerns within the pediatric department.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.

Requirements:

  • Valid NYS RN License

  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required.

  • Supervisory experience required.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Flexibility to travel periodically for field evaluations.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000/year
