Your field of responsibility This role will be engaged and mission-critical role as a Senior Network Engineer in the DevOps / SRE Implementation team responsible for delivery of network projects. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across the network technologies, design and implement solutions adhering to the bank’s product and standards Your future colleagues You will work with the architecture, engineering, capabilities owners/managers, vendor management and service providers’ teams to implement new solutions and support the organizational handover to the NOC. We respect and seek to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills, and experiences within our workforce Your skills and experience We are looking for: * Minimum of 8 years industry experience with strong knowledge in network technologies and incident management, Implementations ideally in the Financial Services industry * Demonstrable Track record of successful end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects demonstrating high level of proficiency in requirements gathering, solutions design, BOM creation, preparation of high and low level design documents, implementation, testing and handover to operations * Demonstrable track record of support and troubleshooting of core network enterprise infrastructure and devices around Cisco (JUNOS, Cisco IOS/Nexus), Juniper (Juniper MX,EX & SRX platforms) and Arista technologies as well as experience in working with MPLS wide area networks. * Provide hands-on Proactive/Reactive maintenance and troubleshooting of Network data/Security Environments. * Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills across all key technologies in Enterprise Data Center and Client LAN Networks (e.g. ACI, VRF, HSRP, VPC, LACP, QoS, Multicast, Cisco ACI, VRF, HSRP, VPC, LACP, QoS, Multicast); * Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills across routing protocols (e.g. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and key network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP & UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, SSH, IPSec) * Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills across WAN technologies (e.g. SDWAN, MPLS) , Public Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP ) and WiFi products and technologies (Cisco, Meraki) * Strong understanding and experience with Network Sniffers (e.g. Wireshark/ TCPDUMP etc.) * Experience with Cisco, Arista and Juniper Routers & Switches and Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, F5/Citrix NetScaler Load Balancers strongly desired * Experience with Network/Monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Zabbix, Splunk, ThousandEyes) and Network Sniffers (e.g. Wireshark/ TCPDUMP etc.) * Experience with Cisco products is essential (e.g. Cisco ACI, Cisco DNAC, N9Ks, Cat9Ks); Arista and Juniper Routers & Switches is desirable * Desired experience with Load Balancers (e.g. F5, Citrix), DHCP/DNS applications (e.g. Infoblox), Firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet) * Experience with Processes, Methodology, Automation and Scripting is desirable and preferred (e.g. Python, Ansible * Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives The salary range, if this role is being hired in New York City, is $120,000k-$155,000 annually, based on various factors such as experience, education, skills, internal and external market data, etc. Job: Information Technology* *Title: *Network Engineer #231409 Location: NY-New York Requisition ID: 231409
