Job Description:
The Global Transaction Banking function provides tailored financing solutions to help companies facilitate cross-border transactions and manage their overall business more effectively and efficiently. Develops client centric solutions by employing traditional trade finance products to help mitigate risk associated with domestic business needs or foreign sales and purchases. Supports foreign banks and their clients' needs in North America and acts as a trusted partner to mitigate risks in international trade.
This is an executive role with responsibility for driving the product strategy for GTB's businesses through client and industry engagement.
Candidate must be a strong, solution-oriented, change agent who can lead strategic product discussions with senior Treasury leaders at both Corporate and FI clients, and develop a high performing team that can identify market opportunities and deliver new product and product enhancements through collaboration with cross functional teams and multiple business lines across TD Bank.

Job Responsibilities
Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance, recognize staff achievements and promote teamwork
GTB's primary executive representative for client and internal product-related matters, including:
Represents GTB Product Leadership with Corporate and FI clients, leading discussions with clients and to understand their strategic treasury priorities and identify opportunities for GTB's product roadmap.
Represents GTB in industry forums, identifying opportunities to increase and build TD Securities' profile as a thought leader in Transaction Banking
Develops and leads the client engagement and market communication strategy for all product-related matters, including client product materials, client advisory forums, and market communications.
Represents GTB at governance committees & forums and act as a champion for the business, including at TDS and TD Executive levels, with the ability to deputize for GTB executives
Gathers and analyzes market research, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform the product roadmap and prioritization and identify market opportunities, working closely with Origination, GTB Product Transformation, and other TD Enterprise business partners (e.g., Enterprise Payments) to deliver product enhancements and client solutions
Drives the direction and prioritization of the GTB product roadmap with critical input from clients current and evolving treasury needs, industry emerging best practices and trending capabilities, and business case opportunities
Opines on whether GTB's product roadmap and requirements will meet the needs of GTB's clients, providing feedback to enhance planned product and feature launches and
Defines, monitors and evaluates key product metrics to monitor product success, and champion and drive a holistic plan to address deficiencies as applicable
Collaborates with product owners to ensure product suite meets evolving regulatory, compliance, legal, and internal policy requirements
Manages and solutions high risk product-related escalations and client resolution and communication with Heads of GTB Businesses and internal partners
Oversees GTB's Correspondent Banking Network Management function
Ensures product documentation and communication is strong, for both internal and external stakeholder's use
Fosters a client centric and motivating team culture, developing the capabilities and skills of the team to deliver high-performance client engagement, depth of knowledge, and strong data driven influence into product development
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
10+ years in Wholesale Transaction Banking product management, preferably across all cash management, correspondent banking, and trade finance product families
Ability to make sound judgment calls relating to strategic decisions and product related escalations under time pressure and manage well in ambiguous situations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead strategic discussions with senior leadership at both clients and internally, able to effectively work with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong control and regulatory background with track record of regulatory engagement and an organization's risk appetite.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams and internal partners to deliver high-quality products on time, within budget, and that meet client-related and internal KPIs.
Ability to make sound judgment calls relating to strategic decisions and product related escalations under time pressure and manage well in ambiguous situations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead strategic discussions with senior leadership at both clients and internally, able to effectively work with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
