Manager, Inventory Planning (Operations Management ) - Calvin Klein
The Manager will provide leadership and direction to a team of Inventory Planners responsible for driving the company's inventory and merchandise strategies. Leads theA training and development of a team that is both analytical and tactical. Partners with Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Visual and the Field to ensure that in stock, inventory efficiency, and assortment productivity business goals are met!
Responsibilities:
Partners with cross-functional leaders to build allocation strategies that support planned merchandising and financial objectives
Lead team of Inventory Planners by crafting a collaborative, innovative and results-orientated environment
Balance workload priorities across departments and team to ensure successful execution
Support the career development and skill development of team to ensure job satisfaction, retention and future talent development
Coordinate product flow out of the distribution center and in-transit to stores
Communicate initial release and replenishment status within cross-functional team
Gets results by translating knowledge of size selling, geographic and store-attribute performance and trends into allocation action plan
Recommend departmental strategies for packing pre-packs, size balancing and inventory balancing and forecasting optimization
Build and adapt tools to measure efficiency or to facilitate key processes owned by the Allocation Team. These include Allocating product to stores and Sizing and Packing orders and evaluating assortment needs of stores based on their climate group, sales velocity and size
Report on allocation efficiency metrics to leadership. Develop action plans to ensure we are improving allocations while driving inventory turnover and ensuring we have a positive, collaborative results-oriented team dynamic
Review DC inventory to ensure timely allocation of inventory. Build plans to get liable categories committed while they are seasonably appropriate
Empowered to own the allocation processes that support merchandise division objectives. Assist in developing the strategic plans with the planning and merchandising teams
Qualifications:
3+ years’ retail experience in planning or allocation; prior supervisory experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree required
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and supervisory abilities
Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of the business and/or ad hoc critical initiatives. Able to connect with several layers of management and field associates on their level
Technical knowledge in PC based systems and application software including: JDA and MicroStrategy
Intermediate to sophisticated Excel skills
Ability to travel for limited local store visits

Pay Range:$85,000 - $100,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
