Nespresso USA, Inc. seeks a Manager Digital Commerce Web Development in New York, NY

Duties: Manage local standalone applications for market initiatives, which will in turn improve performance of the Nespresso US eCommerce responsive sites. Responsible to liaise with the Operations team members as well as lead interactions with the developers/tech community with other Nespresso markets and Headquarters in Switzerland. Develop and coordinate the execution on local initiatives as defined by the eCommerce roadmap in collaboration with internal eCom team and cross functional stakeholders (Marketing, CRM, IS/IT, CRC) when necessary. Ensure monitoring and proper incident management for any major issue (global/local) affecting conversion rate, new member’s activation or availability of the ecom platforms. Responsible for monitoring daily/monthly performance of eCommerce platforms. Lead the technical local landing page development (HTML, CSS, JS), ensuring all Nespresso design and technical guidelines are followed by local design-development agency, are ADA compliant and in line with industry best practices. Lead and/or validate the technical assessment of projects development from end-to-end, considering technical development, implementation, tracking and documentation. Drive development of A/B test implementations (via Google Optimize, Dynamic Yield or similar platform), as defined on eCom roadmap. Ensure close coordination and alignment with eCommerce Operations Sr manager and the broader eCom team to ensure flawless execution. Ensure alignment with HQ eCommerce for best-practices and sustainable growth. Manage and develop team’s performance.

Salary: $179982 - $189982 per year

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Web Development, or a closely related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or working in the eCommerce platforms. Alternatively, the employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Web Development, or a closely related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or working in the eCommerce platforms.

Required experience must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Experience utilizing content management systems including app integration to manage website content and online shopping experiences on e-commerce platforms such as Hybris, Shopify, or Salesforce;

  • Experience in frontend development by using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS;

  • Experience in frameworks and libraries such as React or Vue.js;

  • Experience managing and leading frontend development teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers;

  • Experience in analyzing website performance, user behavior, and making data-driven decisions using tools including Google Analytics, Content Square, Session Cam, and Google Tag Manager (GTM).

  • Experience with responsive design principles, debugging and troubleshooting frontend issues, and conducting unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine;

  • Working with accessibility testing tools, performance profiling tools, and website speed optimization techniques including the use of CDNs with Cloudflare or Akamai.

Up to 10% international and domestic travel required for business meetings. Telework acceptable up to 2 days per week.
