Boutique law firm located in midtown New York City is looking for a Litigation Paralegal is looking for a Litigation Paralegal, biligual in Spanish, to assist with all aspects of litigation and perform a range of case related duties. This is an exciting opporunity to join a busy team and play a truly substantive role within the group!

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

• Prepare pleadings, interrogatroies, assist with document production.
• Prepares and coordinates service of subpoenas and identifies Registered Agents, if applicable, to ensure appropriate service.
• Assist with depositions, notebooks, schedules, expert witnesses, and interested parties
• Prepares and serves deposition notices; coordinates schedules with court reporters and videographers.
• Prepares witness files by ensuring all relevant documents are obtained and filed; ensures witnesses receive relevant documents to review prior to deposition.
• Indexes and summarizes deposition.
• Handle filings (both paper and electronic) with both federal and state courts.
• Performs document reviews and prepares document productions and privilege.
• Legal reserach and assistance with analysis.
• Assists with trial preparation and management of case calendar.
• Bluebook and cite checking.

Requirements/Skills/Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of recent experience as a Litigation Paralegal
• Bilingual Spanish
• Working knowledge of e-filing - both state and federal.
• Bluebook and cite checking experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, evidenced by ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization, including attorneys, courts, and outside counsel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical, drafting, and proofreading skills; attention to detail is important
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced technical skills using Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of e-filing
• Must be open to hybrid schedule - 3 days in office.
