Job Description

Digitas Health is looking for a Lead Product Designer with a strong focus on User Experience (remote or in-person) . The Lead Product/UX Designer will work with UX and Creative leadership and client and agency team members to intimately understand business and user needs, and design user experiences for Health Care Professionals websites, Consumer websites, and rep-based iPad presentations. The Lead Product/User Experience Designer will help guide the team in balancing user needs, business needs, and tech feasibility.

We ask that you have experience in the hands-on creation of deliverables, creation and management of components in Figma design system libraries.

You are collaborative and flexible, with teamwork skills, someone who can meet the challenges of working in pharma head-on, and take to heart our mantra of "helping, not selling."

Responsibilities:

  • Guide the creation, use, and management of design systems

  • Design wireframes (low and medium fidelity), prototype functionality, assist with user interviews and usability testing

  • Create components for use in shared Figma design system libraries

  • Develop information architecture deliverables (site maps, taxonomies, user flow diagrams)

  • Inform the creation of user journeys, personas, and scenarios

  • Advise on WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards and usability best practices

  • Mentor junior team members in UX and product design and collaboration methodologies

  • Skills:

  • Experience in user-centered design principles and research methods

  • Expert in design system workflows and building multi-state components within Figma

  • Present work and findings to clients and vendors

  • Expertise in atomic design principles and WCAG 2.2 AA standards for accessibility

  • Balances and appreciates both the qualitative and quantitative sides of user experience, including the synthesis and integration of analytics data

  • See other points of view and diplomatically hash out the pros and cons of any approach

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree

  • 6 or more years as a practicing Product Designer focused on User Experience

  • Agency and pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience

  • Portfolio of high-quality deliverables (research presentations, site maps, wireframes, design systems, etc.)

  • Expertise in using design software (Figma, Sketch) and collaboration tools (Mural, Miro)

  • Agile experience

Compensation Range: $73,500 - $123,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
