Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Lead Director, Data Science to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for CVS data science teams. Duties include: direct daily Data Science operations across the enterprise, analyze workflow, establish priorities, and develop standards; apply analytical rigor and advanced statistical methods to the analysis of large amounts of data from PBM, Specialty, Retail, and/or HealthCare business; lead a team of Data Scientists designing and delivering analytics projects and experiments that inform solutions for in-house teams (i.e., pharmacy pricing, medical costs, risk scores, onboarding) and customer engagement across critical journeys (i.e., calories, heart rate, breast cancer, maternity); manage large and complex analytical projects from data exploration, model building, performance evaluation and testing to evaluate scenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information on health metrics and potential future outcomes; identify evolving business needs that can be addressed with advanced analytics and translate analytics into business value; present analytics results and compelling business insights to executives; review project plans and coordinate project activity; and assign and review the work of Data Scientists and mentor junior team members. Multiple positions.Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Materials Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Systems Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector; Marketing analytics, clinical trials, or health research; Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; R, Python, or SQL; SAS or SQL programming languages; Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau; Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; Managing consulting engagements including requirements gathering, data requests and reports, progress updates, issue resolution, and documenting analytics findings; Creating functional project plans, developing new operating models, giving executive presentations, establishing working teams with functional leads across the enterprise, and developing integration business plans, budgeting, financial baseline comparison, and plans to capture synergy value; Leadership of business analyses and initiatives; MS Excel, including writing advanced Excel formulas and using conditional, vlookups/hlookups, sorting and filtering, array formulas, and VBA macros, pivot reporting, and conditional formatting; Leadership of cross-functional projects; Developing high-impact presentations for senior-level leaders; Communicating technical concepts and implications to business partners; Presenting quantitative reports and analysis to executive-level audiences; and Translating high-level business goals to technical and process requirements.Apply at http://jobs.cvshealth.com/.
