Wells Fargo Lead Digital Product Manager - Security & Device Technology in NEW YORK, New York

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager to join the Digital Identity & Authentication Team as a part of the Strategy, Digital, & Innovation (SDI) organization. The Digital Identity & Authentication Team is building an enterprise foundation to digitally identify & trust our clients across all products & channels to enable secure, frictionless, personalized & intuitive client experiences at every interaction. This Lead Digital Product Manager will be responsible for managing the overall strategy of the Device Trust Capability as part of the Authentication Product. The role entails building out the priorities for the evolution and optimization of the Device Trust capability and maintaining an evergreen 7-quarter roadmap. This Product Manager will work daily with Product Owners and stakeholders within digital, payments, information security, fraud, controls, and 3rd party vendors. As part of a regulated industry, this individual will be responsible to ensure that all controls are updated appropriately as the service evolves. Reporting and monitoring of the capabilities performance is required daily to ensure efficacy of the solution remains in line with expectations.

The Lead Digital Product Manager will work closely with the Authentication Product Lead and the Delivery Lead to ensure that all cross impacted and dependent stakeholders are well coordinated. Additionally they will partner with architecture to ensure capability design conforms to the technical modernization patterns and that analytics is providing persistent data for analysis purposes. The product manager will also work with the Product Owner to help determine prioritization of the work to align with features on the roadmap.

We are looking for a seasoned agile practitioner with experience in working with AI and vendor solutions. Device Trust leverages AI and device intelligence and remains a key capability, that enables Wells Fargo to verify the user and the device, at the start of any digital banking session.

The device trust capability is key to providing a highly secure, low friction customer experience for our customers in the digital channel

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact

  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning

  • Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area

  • Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements

  • Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in device trust (highly preferred), biometrics or other authentication products

  • Hands on experience using AI or Machine Learning to derive business outcomes

  • Strong background in Agile Scrum methodology

Job Expectations:

  • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. This includes all candidates requiring immediate sponsorship of H1-B, TN or E-3 visas as well as future sponsorship of STEM (F-1/OPT) visas.

  • Candidates must be willing to work on site. Locations include New York City, NY; or Charlotte, NC, or San Francisco, CA. Highly prefer candidates based on the East Coast.

Pay Range for New York, NY: $115,900 - $206,100 annual base salary
