Summer Hill Associates LLC Landscape Construction Laborer in New York, New York

Landscape Construction Laborers - 7 fulltime, temporary, seasonal(H-2B)jobs available 4/1/25-12/31/25.

Duties: Responsible for landscape construction and maintenance. This includes installing sod and planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants. Hardscaping such as building patios and walkways. Installing water features, fences, and outdoor lighting. Grading, laying down mulch/topsoil. Hauling and spreading mulch and topsoil using a wheelbarrow. Mowing, pruning, raking. Clean and maintain tools and equipment. Use an array of hand tools and gas-powered tools, including skid steers, mowers, string trimmers, air blowers, shears.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Saturday work required, when necessary. Hours and schedule may fluctuate due to weather or business needs. Overtime hours will vary. Post-hire drug testing may be conducted randomly and upon suspicion at employer's expense. Post-hire background check at employer's expense.

Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. On-the-job training provided. Employer may assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. Travel to various worksite locations within New York City and Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County in Connecticut.

No education or experience required.

Work Hours: Varies Mon-Sat, 7am-5PM, 52 hours/week at $22.40-$26.00/hour. OT rate at $33.60-$39.00/hour.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
