Job Posting: IT Technical Manager - Salesforce Sales CloudPosition Overview: The primary objective of this role is to deliver Information Technology solutions for evolving business processes and support the development and administration of best practices to meet organizational needs.Key Responsibilities:Solution Development:Translate business requirements into efficient solutions utilizing the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform and productsAnalyze user needs, produce requirements documentation and system plans, and encode, test, debug, maintain, and document programs and applicationsParticipate in technical design sessions and develop technical solution documentation aligned with business objectivesTeam Leadership:Manage a team of developers and consultantsProvide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction for a team of direct reportsProvide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Salesforce Sales Cloud developersLead agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviewsTechnical Responsibilities:Design and develop software for custom business applications/capabilitiesPartner with business analysts, partner resources, and product owners in creating technical documentation and developing highly configurable and sustainable technical solutionsLead Sales Cloud data modeling and architecture, including data extension modeling and cross-product data architecture and mappingOversee integration between Salesforce Sales Cloud and other Salesforce platforms (Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) as well as third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and connectorsStay updated with the latest Salesforce updates and features to provide guidance on best practices and new functionalitiesProvide weekly updates to management, identify risks, and provide optionsProject Management:Lead conception conversations with architects and developers to leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform, including declarative configuration, data extension, integrations, channels, and journeysLead multiple product lines focused on Sales Automation at scale with Salesforce Sales CloudAccountability for environment managementArchitect, design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing Salesforce Sales Cloud pagesPartner closely with the Product Managers to include continuous technical improvement in the Product Line roadmapLead discussions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that meet business needsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud in a development or configuration capacity5+ years of project experience in a hands-on technical leadership positionMinimum 2 years of experience developing Salesforce Sales Cloud customizations (Ampscript), integrations, and executing data migrationsHands-on experience using Confluence and JiraEnterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with major technology programsExperience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platformAbility to work independently and as part of a distributed team with a willingness to take ownership of problemsStrong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver workshops and strategizeExperience with Agile and Product/Scrum team methodologiesExperience managing developersPreferred Qualifications:Excellent communication and presentation skillsWell-rounded in both functional and technical aspects of Sales Automation.Global retail experienceExperience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)Location: This position is in-person at our Corporate Office in New York City.Salary: The hiring range for this position is $148k-$209k.
