Robert Half IT Support Specialist in New York, New York

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in the heart of New York City. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in managing incoming service tickets, maintaining IT integrity across our various locations, and building relationships with team members. This role also involves handling a variety of special projects throughout the year, giving you the chance to showcase your diverse skill set.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all incoming service requests via phone, email, and text using platforms such as Zendesk

• Escalating complex issues to the IT Manager and Director of Systems & Technology as needed

• Handling onboarding and offboarding of employee systems access

• Regularly visiting each of our locations to maintain IT integrity and performance

• Building and maintaining relationships with each team member to foster a positive and collaborative work environment

• Planning and executing special projects throughout the year

• Utilizing Microsoft Windows and MS Office 365 tools to perform daily tasks

• Maintaining and troubleshooting the Network Infrastructure and POS - Point of Sale systems. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows is required

• Demonstrated experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is necessary

• Familiarity with Network Infrastructure is expected

• Proficiency in MS Office 365 is a must

• Proven experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support role

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist staff in a friendly and professional manner

• Ability to work in a team and coordinate well with others

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Willingness to continue learning and improving technical skills

• Knowledge of IT software, hardware, and network maintenance

• Able to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
