Citigroup IT Project Group Manager in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Project Group Manager for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Lead the cross-product execution strategy for Citi Research and Citi Velocity technology teams. Engage with Citi teams, 3rd parties and clients to shape our service offerings and approaches to integration – from early requirements, through development, on-boarding and on-going as the services are used. Maintain industry leading awareness of the evolving technology landscape to obtain and sustain a lead in the arms race for Content creation/distribution. Engage in design, architecture, provisioning, troubleshooting, manage, and drive key components and processes in Citi's research technology stack. Provide subject matter expertise on use of digital publishing technologies, compliance process, content distribution through vendors and direct channels. Manage the execution of complex technical projects in front office systems to enhance user experience. Drive evolution of content distribution strategies in digital publishing, content creation and distribution to multiple digital channels. Conduct management activities including resource and compensation management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Six (6) years of experience, or in the alternative four (4) years with a Master’s, must include: Conducting product management, including product development, launch, and lifecycle management of applications for Capital markets with an emphasis on generation/dissemination of Markets commentary, multi-media content, events, and client interest management; Developing strategies for enhancing the user experience on sell-side markets portals through the use of Artificial Intelligence and process automation (retaining of users, cross sell of content opportunities, recommendation of commentary etc.; Using project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall to manage the program and project lifecycles from feasibility study through to production deployment; Creating and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets using Project tracking tools for Content Management, Sitewide Utilities and Markets Digital Platforms projects; Handling risk management of financial products and services using risk assessment and mitigation strategies ensuring compliance to jurisdictional regulations, disclosures/disclaimer management, creation of corrective action plans and follow up with stakeholders for remediation; and Leading cross-functional teams in analyzing data to make informed decisions and developing strategies while generating client specific usage metrics and enabling sales to have informed/meaningful conversations with clients.
