Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an IT Audit Manager in the banking industry. The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the auditing activities within the organization, ensuring accurate and efficient operations. Knowledge of auditing information security, cyber, and other related domains crucial. Financial Systems Auditor will be expected to work independently, help with planning audits, scoping samples, conducting walk throughs, perform control testing and escalate findings to leadership. Prior banking / financial services experience a must. CISA or CISSP Certifications a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct risk management technology audits.

• Monitor operational and market risks and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Oversee the setting of limits and ensure they are adhered to.

• Manage the process of reporting risks within the organization.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline audit processes.

• Develop and implement audit programs and plans.

• Oversee and manage audit engagements.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in technology auditing or related field

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required

• Demonstrated experience in managing audit programs is essential

• Must have hands-on experience with Cyber Security, Information Security, ITGC.

• Experience in managing audit engagements is required

• Strong knowledge and understanding of auditing principles and practices

• Must be capable of developing and executing audit plans
