POSITION DETAILS
The CUNY School of Medicine (CSOM) at The City College of New York (CCNY), is the only medical school in the City University of New York system. Our innovative curriculum allows students to complete both their undergraduate Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degrees in seven years. CSOM will graduate its first MED class in 2020. CSOM also offers a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies (P.A.). Our mission is to provide access to medical education to talented youth from social, ethnic, and racial backgrounds historically underrepresented in medicine and to develop health professionals committed to practicing in under-served communities with a special emphasis on primary care. It has a reputation for excellence that has earned national acclaim for performance and a broad network of clinical sites for clerkships.
Reporting to the Director of Educational Technology, the Administrative Executive Assistant will provide administrative support for the educational platforms and technology used by the students and faculty in the School of Medicine to support the educational mission of the School. The incumbent will assist the Director in helping faculty to integrate appropriate and innovative technologies so support life-long learning and promote the effective use of educational technology systems.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
a) LEO/RedCap System Administrator and Project Manager
b) Manage day-to-day operations in the Learning Management System( LMS); LEO, REDCap, BLine
c) Manage CSOM courses in the LMS
d) Manage CUNY Calendar in LMS
e) Manage student schedules in the LMS
f) Assist course directors in compiling and publishing in-house electronic high stakes exams
g) Provide technical support during the in-house exam experience
h) Manage Gradebook setup for each course
*Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and four years' relevant experience required.

Displayed attentiveness to detail and deadlines
Exercises diplomacy

experience managing databases
Experience with CUNYFirst and Blackboard
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Works with appropriate offices related to personnel recruitment, expediting search activities

Manages budget and coordinates purchasing, accounting, and payroll.
Provides instructions and basic advice to students, faculty, and others seeking information on department activities, policies, and schedules.

Salary range $45,000 - $56,447
