Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in New York, New York

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in the education industry, based in New York, New York, United States. Your primary role will be to provide technical support, manage databases, and handle customer inquiries in a predominantly Mac OS environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting issues and guiding them towards resolution.

• Maintain and manage databases to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning optimally.

• Utilize Citrix Technologies to enhance system operations and user experience.

• Employ Lotus Notes and Microsoft tools to streamline work processes and improve productivity.

• Manage Active Directory to control network resources.

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Monitor EO/IR systems to track customer interactions and responses.

• Support and manage desktop hardware and computer hardware to ensure efficient operations.

• Utilize Configuration Management to maintain system security.

• Provide Deskside Support to assist users in resolving hardware or software issues. Requirements • Must possess expert knowledge of Citrix Technologies

• Proficient in handling Database systems

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is crucial

• Proficient in Lotus Notes

• Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft platforms

• Expertise in Active Directory management

• Must have experience in Computer Hardware troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Configuration Management is essential

• Proficient in Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware and its workings

• Proficient in Mac OS

• Prior experience in the education industry is beneficial

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Must possess strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
