The Group Strategic Account (GSA) Lead will have responsibility for strategic leadership and engagement with the largest and most strategically important Group Clients. The GSA Lead will focus on developing and growing our global business footprint within the most influential Group clients.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for strategic management of a small number (one or two) of the most important Group Strategic Accounts.

The individual will build an aligned matrixed co-operation team across all LSEG Divisions namely Data & Analytics, Capital Markets, Post-Trade and Group Technology Services and will also be a key contact point to leverage ExCo engagement.

The individual will also work closely with Group functions such Finance, Marketing and Corporate Communications who will provide infrastructural support in the management of senior level engagement and development of detailed Group growth account plans.

The GSA Lead will have the following key areas of responsibility:
New revenue generation through the development of world class strategic service and partnership programmes
Global strategic responsibility and group coordination for their allocated client
Development and implementation of strategic growth plans to increase adoption and penetration of Group Products and Services within the client
Development, communication and execution of strategic account plans
Identify innovative solutions to provide our clients with a competitive advantage whilst advancing Group revenue and strategic objectives
Develop, grow and leverage key relationships with most senior and influential C- level executives within the nominated client
Presentation throughout client's organization of LSEG capabilities and value proposition
Negotiate and close complex large ticket deals
Active research and engagement to gain clear understanding of the strategy and business drivers of the client and the ability to develop and implement strategies to better align LSEG Group with the client's business
Work with the LSEG Senior Management Team to develop and maintain high level strategic relationships within the named client
Advocate for the client within Refinitiv, and act as Refinitiv ambassador in the client's enterprise
Demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally to ensure that full value is delivered to the client in terms of service and professional expertise
Report to executives on account health through accurate forecasting and account plans

Candidate Profile / Key Skills
It is expected that the candidate will be able to deliver each of the key objectives of the role identified above. It is therefore expected that he or she will have:
Senior business experience with 15+ years in the area of large ticket financial services, fintech, investment markets or closely related areas
Experience of working with clients in the global arena, specifically with global investment managers
Excellent and deep knowledge of the financial markets, the investment process, asset and portfolio management.
Experience in both Equity and Fixed Income / Multi Asset class domains
Good understanding of the key regulatory drivers with Financial markets
Proven capability in managing complex, global sales opportunities and delivering long term, sustainable growth
