Position OverviewOur client, a theater-centric non-profit, is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join their NY team! This is a hybrid role, and will be onsite 3-4 days per week at their NYC office.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign / develop high-quality key art, including promotional banners, programs, and posters for both print and digital mediumsContribute conceptual ideas, and social media initiatives Collaborate with the Art Director and the communications team to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and overall visual direction Product compelling 360 campaigns for their events, including social campaigns, event banners, invitations, signage, etc.Stay up-to-date on design trends, and refine designs based on feedback from the creative teamQualifications3+ years of experience in design, with a portfolio that showcases strong key art + promotional design workAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)Strong understanding of visual storytelling, typography, color theory, and compositionExperience with both print and digital designFamiliarity with pre-press processes and requirements is a plusExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPassion for theater, and the performing artsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
