THE ROLE
Graphic Designer will report to the Art Director, whom will outline strategy for the visual identity of the brand. This position will be responsible for production design of eCommerce digital projects and assets (website assets, social assets, email marketing creative, etc.) as well as various marketing material. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of digital and print environments, receive constructive feedback, ability to multi-task and a willingness to work on an assignment no matter how great or small.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Creation and resizing of assets for store and marketing use, utilizing brand guidelines
Design work with creative thinking to produce new ideas and drive sales.
Working with a wide range of media including digital advertising, web assets, photography retouching, print ads, and social media formats, etc.
Strong eye for layout and typography.
Ability to work independently as well as well as in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders across many international platforms and countries
Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Collaborate with multiple teams to maintain a brand style and identity.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
2 year minimum experience as a designer.
Understanding of graphic concepts; understanding of digital asset production as well as print, and new content formats (email, website content slots, digital marketing ads, print ads, social media,
Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University along with 2-4 years of experience designing for multi-faceted digital platforms.
An available online portfolio demonstrating scope of functional capabilities and aesthetic choices
Experience leading the creation of branded imagery, preferably for a fashion brand or retailer a plus
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Strong team player and leader
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ie. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere (plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with illustration and animation is a plus
COMPENSATION
$50,000 - $60,000
